SHEQ Manager
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all SHEQ functions to ensure full compliance with legislative, client, and company requirements.

- Professional registration (e.g., SACPCMP or equivalent) essential
- Minimum 6+ years' experience in a senior SHEQ role on large infrastructure or road construction projects
- Experience on SANRAL or national roads projects advantageous
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems
Degree or National Diploma in Safety Management / Environmental Management / Quality Management or related field
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project SHEQ Management System
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Ensure compliance with National Environmental Management Act
- Ensure compliance with National Environmental Management: Waste Act
- Ensure compliance with Applicable SANRAL and contract specifications
- Lead risk assessments, HIRA processes, and method statement approvals
- Oversee environmental compliance and EMPr implementation
- Manage quality control systems in line with contract standards
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits
- Investigate incidents and ensure corrective and preventive actions
- Compile monthly SHEQ reports for Project Management and Client
- Lead SHEQ training, inductions, and toolbox talks
- Manage SHEQ Officers and site compliance teams
