Senior Wastewater Engineer - Process Design & Upgrades

Education BEng or BSc (Eng) in Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

A large consulting company with offices across South Africa with projects globally is looking for a Senior Wastewater Engineer to join their offices in Cape Town or Pretoria.

• BEng or BSc (Eng) in Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 7 years' post graduate experience specifically on wastewater treatment engineering projects.
• Engineering planning, process design or infrastructure design experience for wastewater or water treatment will be a distinct advantage.

• Perform complex engineering, design, calculation, and analysis of wastewater treatment improvements/upgrades.
• Be responsible for the compilation of planning and business reports for the upgrading or improvement of wastewater treatment plant designs.
• Assist in producing any other key deliverables required by the client to support their project implementation requirements, including assessment of technical or financial feasibility, technical assessment of process or infrastructure decisions, technical specifications, and/or procurement documentation.
• Manage project work and assigned staff to deliver high quality outputs within constrained timeframes.
• Be a team player willing to collaborate across multiple disciplines and international geographies.
• Ensure that all work complies with the company's quality control procedures and that the required quality standards are maintained.
