We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Toolmaker to join our Engineering Services team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is suited to a technically strong artisan with solid press tooling experience, excellent fault-finding ability, and a strong focus on quality, safety, and production uptime.The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, improving, and servicing press tools, jigs, fixtures, fittings, and tooling dies to support efficient production operations.

• Repair, maintain, service, and improve press tooling, dies, jigs, fixtures, and fittings
• Conduct preventative and planned maintenance on tooling
• Support production to minimize tooling downtime and improve output efficiency
• Respond quickly and effectively to tooling breakdowns
• Carry out tooling modifications and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure all tooling repairs meet required quality and engineering standards
• Maintain accurate tooling and maintenance records, job cards, and time sheets
• Control tooling spares and ensure proper booking procedures are followed
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards within the tool room and workshop
• Support compliance with SHE standards, procedures, and company policies
• N3 Qualification
• 5-10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with press tooling, tooling repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Ability to read drawings and perform precision work
• Sound knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and engineering workshop practices
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of HIRA, root cause analysis, and maintenance best practices
• Forklift and lifting equipment experience advantageous
• Strong technical troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
• Ability to work under pressure and respond urgently to breakdowns
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
