Senior Solutions Architect

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect with strong expertise in core banking systems, particularly Finacle, to lead the design and implementation of enterprise banking solutions.

The role focuses on defining scalable, secure, and efficient architecture for banking platforms while ensuring seamless integration between core banking systems, legacy platforms, and modern digital banking solutions. The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to deliver robust banking architectures aligned with strategic business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of core banking integration patterns, banking processes, and modern architecture frameworks, enabling financial institutions to evolve from legacy systems toward modern, API-driven ecosystems.

• Design end-to-end architecture for banking systems centered around Finacle.
• Define scalable architecture frameworks supporting both legacy and modern banking platforms.
• Develop solution blueprints that align with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and compliant with banking regulations.

• Design integration strategies between core banking systems and external applications such as digital banking, payments platforms, and CRM systems.
• Implement integration patterns supporting legacy systems as well as modern API-driven architectures.
• Define best practices for data synchronization, messaging, and service orchestration.
• Support migration or modernization initiatives involving core banking platforms.

• Analyze existing legacy banking systems and recommend modernization strategies.
• Architect solutions using microservices, APIs, middleware, and event driven architectures where applicable.
• Support the transition from monolithic core banking systems to modular and scalable digital ecosystems.

• Provide architectural leadership to development and integration teams.
• Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical governance sessions.
• Mentor engineers and solution designers on best practices and architectural standards.

• Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and technology partners on core banking and integration initiatives.
• Provide architectural recommendations to senior leadership.

• Strong hands on experience with Finacle
• Deep understanding of core banking operations and processes
• Experience with banking modules such as accounts, loans, payments, and customer management
• Experience integrating core banking platforms with digital banking systems

• Strong knowledge of legacy and modern integration design patterns
• API based architecture and microservices design
• Experience with middleware and integration platforms
• Messaging and event driven architectures
• Solution architecture frameworks and design principles
• Data architecture and system interoperability
• Security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in banking systems

Experience with enterprise technology and integration tools such as:

• Middleware and integration platforms
• Cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or software engineering
• 5+ years of experience working with core banking platforms, particularly Finacle
• Proven experience delivering core banking transformation or integration projects

• Enterprise architecture certifications (TOGAF or equivalent)
• Banking technology or fintech related certifications
• Cloud architecture certifications (advantageous)
