Senior Project Engineer MCPE300326

Job Type: 12 month contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

1. Planning & Coordination
   • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables
   • Develop project schedules and timelines
2. Technical Oversight
   • Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
   • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
   • Provide technical guidance to the project team
3. Project Execution
   • Monitor progress against the plan
   • Ensure resources (labour, materials, equipment) are available
   • Troubleshoot technical issues on-site or during execution
4. Cost & Budget Control
   • Assist with budgeting and cost estimates
   • Track project costs and identify variances
   • Support procurement and contract administration
5. Quality & Compliance
   • Ensure work meets quality standards and specifications
   • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental requirements
6. Communication & Reporting
   • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
   • Prepare progress reports and updates
   • Participate in meetings and provide technical input
   • Identify potential risks and delays
   • Ensure issues are resolved quickly to avoid impact on schedule/cost

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, or Mechanical Engineering.

• 10+ years' experience in mineral processing within EPCM / engineering consulting projects
• Strong knowledge of process plant design and project execution.
• Experience with feasibility studies, detailed design, and plant commissioning.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
