The purpose of this role is to support business development initiatives by providing expert technical input, conducting comprehensive feasibility studies, optimizing solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) designs, and creating cost-effective, innovative solutions for grid-tied, hybrid, and wheeling energy projects.

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical, Mechatronic, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, focusing on system design and feasibility analysis.
• Proven expertise in solar and BESS technologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to confidently engage with clients, explain technical concepts and foster strong relationships.
• Own transport and valid driver's license required.

• Interpret electrical single-line diagrams for accurate system design.
• Develop conceptual designs for solar and hybrid energy systems.
• Execute detailed costing and simulations for solar system proposals.
• Optimize system designs for maximum efficiency and cost savings.
• Conduct detailed feasibility analyses for energy projects.
• Provide mentorship and quality review for junior engineers' work.
• Create financial models to evaluate project economics.
• Apply data analysis to inform strategic business development.
• Lead R&D initiatives for new product and solution development.
• Keep abreast of energy technology advancements and market trends.
