Act as an industrial engineering technical authority within the Energy business, providing strategic leadership, governance, and expert input to optimise project delivery, operational performance, and business efficiency across projects.

• Serve as the industrial engineering authority for complex and high value energy programmes
• Define and oversee optimisation, performance, and delivery improvement strategies
• Provide expert review and assurance of planning, controls, and performance frameworks
• Lead high impact improvement initiatives and transformation programmes
• Support international project delivery and cross regional collaboration
• Advise senior stakeholders and clients on efficiency, productivity, and delivery strategy
• Contribute to work winning, proposals, and strategic business initiatives
• Mentor senior engineers and support capability development within the discipline
• Ensure alignment with WSP delivery excellence, safety, and quality frameworks

• Role model standards for SHEQ performance and behavior consistent with the company's health, safety, environmental, and quality vision and policies by influencing those around you
• Contributing to the identification of SHEQ risks and driving processes to achieve Zero Harm
• Embracing, displaying, and promoting the company values and ensuring a safe working environment is always maintained

• BEng / BSc in Industrial Engineering (BTech considered with strong experience)
• 15 years' experience in industrial engineering, project controls, or operational optimisation
• Proven experience leading optimisation or performance improvement initiatives
• Strong experience in multidisciplinary project environments
• Professional registration with ECSA

• Strong technical and analytical leadership capability
• Confident problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to lead and collaborate across disciplines and teamsStrong focus on efficiency, quality, safety, and delivery performance
