We're on the hunt for a Senior Guest Services & Rentals Assistant to join our Queenstown Cardrona-Treble Cone team. This is your chance to take the next step - combining hands-on guest service with leadership, coaching, and day-to-day operational support in a fast-paced alpine environment.
About the RoleThis is more than a senior position - it's a leadership opportunity. You'll set the standard on the floor, support your team through busy peak periods, and ensure every guest interaction is seamless, positive, and memorable.
You'll lead by example while keeping the operation running smoothly, from coordinating transport and managing the flow of guests, to supporting staff training and stepping up when the Team Leader is away.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading from the front - delivering exceptional guest service every day
- Supporting and guiding the team to create a positive, high-performing environment
- Assisting with staff training, onboarding, and ongoing coaching
- Helping manage daily operations, including staff flow, scheduling, and busy periods
- Ensuring smooth guest journeys across reservations, rentals, retail, and transport
- Handling guest feedback and resolving issues with a solution-focused mindset
- Driving sales across snowsports, rentals, retail, and multi-day experiences
- Maintaining high standards across the store, equipment, and presentation
- Stepping up to run the branch when needed
- Proven experience in snowsports (3+ seasons preferred)
- Strong reservations and sales experience (RTP knowledge a bonus)
- Confidence leading teams in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and keep others motivated
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with great initiative
- A positive attitude and the ability to inspire those around you
