Are you a financial planning professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Financial Planner (Client Portfolio Manager) to join a growing, client-focused team based in Newlands, Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a financial professional with 3-7 years' experience in financial planning and investment advice who enjoys building long-term client relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions. You will be provided with both a book of existing clients and daily prospective leads, along with a clear career path and strong remuneration growth potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with new and existing clients, both virtually and in person
  • Onboard new clients through a structured process
  • Provide financial and investment advice across local and offshore portfolios
  • Assist clients with tax, estate planning, and wills
  • Conduct regular investment reviews and client meetings
  • Keep up to date with markets, tax regulations, and investment vehicles
  • Handle client queries and maintain accurate client records
  • Ensure FICA compliance
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Financial Planner
  • Fluency in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
  • Relevant degree (BCom/BusSci/Hons preferred)
  • RE5 regulatory exam completed
  • CFP qualification (or studying towards it) highly advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
