Ensures accurate, timely and financial information is provided to relevant stakeholders, and supports a strong performance management culture through close partnership with the business. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial finance performance for the Southern Africa business, including full Trial Balance accountability. Support delivery of in-year targets and the five-year plan by identifying gaps and driving actions with the business. Lead planning activities (budget, forecast and business planning) with Business Partners and the Senior Finance Manager for Africa. Deliver clear monthly reporting and management information, including key performance indicators , versus plan analysis and commentary. Provide variance analysis and commercial insights, with practical recommendations to improve performance. Support performance improvement across South Africa and the Southern African Development Community region, including improving performance measures and reporting. Lead monthly performance review sessions and support monthly clearance calls with the Finance Business Team. Manage rebates and related commercial models that support business growth. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (Business Partners, leadership team, functional heads, regional and global teams). Support ad-hoc projects as needed and apply the Finance Control Framework and finance policies to ensure compliance and strong controls. Education / Professional Qualification Qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa), Certified Public Accountant, or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Essential Experience Strong commercial finance, accounting and performance management capability. Experience extracting, interpreting and reporting management information to support business decision making. Ability to balance financial control with commercial priorities to deliver business performance. Experience working in a matrix organisation. Experience in fast-moving consumer goods or a similar commercial environment is preferred.
