Senior Facilities Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to conduct inspections of buildings, manage and control service and maintenance contractors, manage and control tenant installations, and execute building-related activities as predetermined by the Property Manager and Centre Manager. The role also includes responsibility for health and safety at the centre.
What you will bring (Qualifications)- Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (BSc or BTech) or an accepted diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering
- Between 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in retail
- Electrical, mechanical, or construction background, along with technical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure that all Planned Maintenance is executed in line with the planned maintenance schedule and that all operating systems are updated
- Ensure all Service Providers are managed in terms of their contract
- Execute all CAPEX Projects in the year that they are budgeted
- Conduct annual risk inspections and action identified risk items
- Ensure the properties comply with all OHSACT requirements and regulations
- Control, guide, monitor, analyse, and track all electricity consumption and implement savings initiatives
- Control, guide, monitor, analyse, and track all water consumption and implement savings initiatives
- Maintain internal and external customer/client response times of 24 hours for queries or requests
