Job Description

Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Business Process Management, business optimisation and data-driven transformation? We are partnering with a leading organisation in the financial services sector to appoint a Senior Business Analyst on a 12-month contract, with a key focus on supporting business process maturity and optimisation within the Financial Markets environment.

In this role, you will provide end-to-end business analysis services, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand business needs, analyse current processes, identify improvement opportunities and define appropriate ICT-enabled solutions. You will play a critical role in helping the organisation improve the way it works by mapping, modelling and analysing business processes, assessing BPM maturity, and developing practical strategies to strengthen business process capability.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Diploma in Business Analysis.
  • Minimum of eight years' Business Analysis experience, with at least five years' experience in a data management environment.
  • Proven experience in business process mapping, process modelling, business analysis, continuous improvement, process re engineering, intelligent automation, process mining, and citizen development environment management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Process Management principles, methodologies and maturity frameworks.
  • Experience in defining, assessing and developing Business Process Management maturity models.
  • Knowledge, experience and/or relevant qualifications in Financial Markets would be advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders impacted by business initiatives or sharing common business needs.
  • Plan, manage and execute business analysis activities across the full project or change lifecycle.
  • Consult with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, drivers, functions, structures and operational challenges.
  • Conduct detailed workflow and business process analysis to identify gaps, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Elicit, analyse, document, communicate and validate business, functional and system requirements.
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, practical and implementable solution requirements.Investigate business problems and propose feasible solutions through collaboration with users, developers, architects and other stakeholders.
  • Analyse solution options, assess feasibility, recommend viable approaches and validate these with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain business requirements specifications, change request documents and supporting process documentation.
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solutions are designed and implemented in line with approved business requirements.
  • Monitor whether implemented solutions meet the agreed business need and quality expectations.
  • Manage changes to requirements, specifications and related documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support solution quality assurance activities and participate in User Acceptance Testing to ensure successful business adoption.
  • Develop training, knowledge transfer and supporting documentation to enable effective implementation and handover.
