What you will be doing:
  • Maintain accurate financial transaction records
  • Establish accounts and post transactions correctly
  • Ensure compliance with legal and internal financial policies
  • Reconcile and balance accounts
  • Process general journals
  • Produce financial statements (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet)
  • Verify invoices, receipts, and other source documents
  • Prepare financial reports and analyse account trends
  • Track and maintain inventory records
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare payments
  • Complete VAT calculations, submissions, and payments
  • Assist with budgets and audits
  • Maintain a complete and organised financial filing system
  • Conduct monthly branch audits (stock and assets)
