1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - East London - £95-£115 per day

We are currently recruiting for a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in East London. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a pupil who requires additional support, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.

The Role:

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support a pupil with special educational needs on a daily basis, helping to create a structured and engaging learning environment tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
  • Support engagement in lessons and learning activities
  • Assist with behaviour management and emotional support
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCO
  • Track progress and support personalised learning plans
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
  • Calm, patient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
