The Elite Job is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Security Screener to ensure the safety and security of passengers, staff, and airport facilities. The role involves monitoring entry and exit points, conducting thorough screenings, and maintaining strict compliance with aviation security regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high integrity, alertness, and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct security screening of passengers, baggage, and staff at terminal entry and exit points.
  • Operate and monitor security screening equipment such as X-ray machines, metal detectors, and body scanners.
  • Identify and respond to prohibited items or suspicious behavior in accordance with security protocols.
  • Verify identification documents and boarding passes as required.
  • Maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with airport authorities and law enforcement agencies when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation security standards and company policies.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to passengers while maintaining professionalism.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Certification in security screening or aviation security (preferred).
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations.
  • Basic knowledge of security equipment operation.
  • Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
Experience

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in security screening, airport operations, or a related field preferred. Freshers with relevant training or certification may also be considered.

Working Hours
  • Rotational shifts including day, night, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Typical shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours depending on operational requirements.
