• Loss Prevention: Monitor customers and staff for suspicious behavior, prevent shoplifting and internal theft, conduct bag checks, apprehend suspects following legal procedures, and protect store assets.
• Access Control: Monitor store entrances and exits, verify staff entry through back doors, control stockroom access, ensure only authorized persons enter restricted areas, and maintain security log books.
• Incident Response: Respond to alarms and security incidents, coordinate with SAPS when arrests are made, handle violent or aggressive situations, provide first aid when necessary, and ensure safety of Sales Assistants, Cashiers, and customers.
• Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras (where installed), patrol store floor and stockroom, identify vulnerable areas, observe fitting rooms, and report security concerns to management.
• Asset Protection: Work with Stock Controller Assistants to minimise shrinkage, investigate stock discrepancies, identify high-theft items, and implement preventive measures.

• Province - Gauteng / Western Cape: Monthly Salary R6,500-R9,500, Annual Salary R78,000-R114,000.
• Province - KwaZulu Natal: Monthly Salary R6,500-R9,000, Annual Salary R78,000-R108,000.
• Province - Other Provinces: Monthly Salary R6,500-R8,500, Annual Salary R78,000-R102,000.
• Additional Earnings - Sunday shifts: Time and a half; Public holidays: Double time; Night shifts: 10-15% premium; Overtime: Common during peaks.
