Scrum Master

South African Rand . ZAR 200,000 - 300,000

Job Description

This is not a "by-the-book" Scrum Master role. You will enter a sophisticated ecosystem where teams have varying levels of Agile maturity. Your mission is to act as a floating strategic resource, embedded across 1-3 teams simultaneously to re-engineer process design and elevate coaching standards. You won't just facilitate meetings; you will architect the environment that allows some of the country's smartest developers to deliver world-class financial services software.

Profile for Success
  • The "Doing" Evidence: You can point to a specific instance where you entered a struggling or "process-heavy" team and successfully re-engineered their workflow to increase throughput and morale.
  • Agile Versatility: Demonstrated experience working with multiple teams concurrently (1-3 teams) in a fast-paced IT environment.
  • SDLC Fluency: A deep, practical understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, ensuring that Agile speed never compromises code quality or audit compliance.
  • Adaptive Leadership: You know when to push for process improvement and when to let a team experiment and fail safely.
