Management Level Senior Manager Job Description & Summary At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. In contract lifecycle management technology (CLM) at PwC, you will specialise in providing consulting services for implementing CLM technology solutions. You will have extensive experience in various CLM technologies. Growing as a strategic advisor, you leverage your influence, expertise, and network to deliver quality results. Summary The COE Team Lead is accountable for the delivery and operations of the COE Team, serving as the primary Level 1 escalation point for client delivery within the Center of Excellence (COE). This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, delivery quality, and strategic growth within our COE team. The successful candidate will combine deep CLM expertise with strong people leadership and operational acumen to scale as the business expands. This role is suited to a legal, legal-tech, or technology professional with strong delivery experience, including legal-tech delivery and operational managers (e.g., DocuSign, Sirion, Harvey, Legora, Icertis, Agiloft).

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of 10+ CLM professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee resource planning, performance management, career development, and succession planning across the team.
  • Champion talent acquisition and onboarding strategies to support team growth as operations expand.
Operation Excellence
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CLM CoE, ensuring efficient workflows, optimal resource allocation, and consistent service delivery.
  • Develop, refine, and implement operational processes, frameworks, and governance structures to support scalability.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and quality metrics to ensure delivery excellence across all engagements.
Delivery Oversight
  • Advise internal stakeholders and clients on delivery best practices, methodologies, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Manage escalations, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful project outcomes.
Leah Platform Expertise
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on strategy, platform capabilities, and implementation best practices.
  • Provide expert guidance on the Leah platform and other leading CLM technologies, advising clients and internal teams on optimal use cases, configuration, and adoption.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging tools, and innovations in the CLM space to keep the CoE at the forefront of the market.
Experience & Skills
  • 7+ years' experience in legal, contracting, legal operations, procurement, or legal-tech delivery.
  • In-depth, hands on experience delivering platform implementations on the Leah platform.
  • Proven experience leading and managing teams of 10+ people, including direct line management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing operations of a CLM or legal tech delivery team, with a track record of ensuring delivery excellence.
  • Project management background essential.
  • Strong operational background with experience overseeing operations in line with business growth.
  • Ability to advise stakeholders and clients on delivery best practices, methodologies, and process optimisation.
