SAP Infrastructure Support Engineer - Project Delivery SEIDOR Networks

Remotely support SAP Business One cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments. The role includes infrastructure, Linux and Windows Server as well as Microsoft SQL and SAP HANA support.

• Support infrastructure environments for SAP B1 (HANA and SQL)
• Support SUSE Linux and HANA databases according to SAP best practices
• Support Windows and SQL Server
• Networking, security, and monitoring support within Azure, AWS, Huawei Cloud, and private cloud environments
• Support for SAP components such as SLD, HANA Studio, Service Layer, and integration frameworks
• Achieve faster resolution times by proactively engaging customers via Teams or telephone calls rather than relying on delayed email or messaging
• Effectively support and communicate with multicultural customers across multiple countries and time zones
• Troubleshoot problems across infrastructure and SAP application layers
• Work closely with SAP consultants and end customers to resolve queries
• Support automation initiatives to streamline SAP environment visibility and monitoring
  

• Matric and/or relevant tertiary qualification (certificate or degree)
• Minimum 5 years' industry-relevant technical experience
• 3-5 years' experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering (e.g. Azure, AWS, Huawei Cloud, VMware, Hyper V)
• 3-5 years' experience in Linux and Windows Server administration
• 3-5 years' experience in networking fundamentals (Firewall, VPN, DNS, IP)
• Working knowledge of SAP architecture and components (e.g. SLD, DI API, Integration Framework)
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to learn modern technologies and complete required certifications
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (office based and remote)
