We are seeking a highly experiencedSales professional with a proven track record in the automotive SaaS for CRM, chatbot, proactive lead management, AI SEO automation, with search and syndication to social media .

The ideal candidate has successfully sold CRM and customer engagement platforms within the automotive industry, including solutions for lead generation, customer lifecycle management, marketing automation, and AI-driven sales optimization. Experience working with dealerships, dealer groups, automotive marketplaces.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong track record of closing high-value, multi-year SaaS agreements, navigating complex B2B sales environments, and engaging senior decision-makers such as dealership owners, general managers, and heads of marketing or digital transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify, prospect, and engage wholesale trucking companies, trailer distributors, logistics groups, transport operators, and mining corporations across South Africa.
  • Drive revenue through the sale of SaaS fleet management systems, telematics platforms, digital logistics software, mining fleet solutions, and industrial automation tools .
  • Conduct high-level software demonstrations and technical presentations to executives including Fleet Managers, Operations Directors, CFOs, CTOs, and Procurement Heads.
  • Manage the complete SaaS sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, solution design, proposal development, negotiation, contract execution, onboarding coordination, and post-sale relationship management.
  • Close multi-year subscription agreements and enterprise-level licensing deals.
  • Develop strategic account plans for large fleet operators and mining enterprises.
  • Conduct outbound sales activities including cold outreach, LinkedIn engagement, executive networking, and industry event participation.
  • Maintain detailed CRM records including forecasting, pipeline tracking, and sales performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with technical, onboarding, and customer success teams to ensure smooth implementation and long-term retention
  • Stay current with trends in:
    • Fleet digitization
    • Telematics and GPS tracking
    • Mining automation
    • Trailer asset tracking
    • Logistics optimization software
    • Predictive maintenance technologies
    • Compliance and safety systems
  • Contribute to national expansion within the South African trucking, trailer, and mining software markets.
REQUIREDED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Proven experience in SaaS or enterprise software sales into trucking, logistics, trailer distribution, or mining industries (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated success selling fleet management software, telematics, logistics platforms, mining technology solutions, or industrial automation systems .
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Fleet management systems
    • GPS and telematics platforms
    • Mining fleet optimization tools
    • Asset tracking software
    • ERP and logistics automation systems
    • Predictive maintenance technologies
    • Compliance and safety monitoring software
  • Proven ability to close high-value, multi-year B2B enterprise contracts.
  • Experience managing long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to sell into large corporate structures and mining houses.
  • Strong technical understanding of SaaS models, API integrations, cloud platforms, and enterprise deployments.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Confident engaging C-level and operational leadership teams.
  • Strong CRM and pipeline management expertise.
  • Highly performance-driven with a strong focus on revenue growth and KPI achievement.
  • Excellent spoken and written English (mandatory).
LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Open to candidates based anywhere in South Africa.
  • Must hold a valid South African driver's license.
  • Ability to travel nationally to client sites including trucking depots, logistics hubs, trailer yards, and mining operations.
  • Minimum 50 Mbps upload & download internet speed
