- Matric / Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy with strong administrative ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a customer focused attitude.
- Valid South African driver's licence and understanding of local traffic laws and driving regulations.
- Well groomed, able to stand for long periods, and available to work flexible hours (including weekends and holidays).
- Additional qualifications in customer service, administration, or related fields.
- Experience in the rental, automotive, customer service, or travel industries.
- Familiarity with reservation or booking systems used in the car rental sector.
Greet and assist customers with rental inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
Clearly explain rental terms, conditions, and insurance options.
Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
TRANSACTION AND RESERVATION PROCESSINGProcess rental reservations, returns, and extensions accurately and efficiently.
Verify customer identification and valid driving licences.
Handle payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
VEHICLE MANAGEMENTConduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after rentals.
Report any damages or discrepancies in line with company policies.
Maintain key handling protocols and assist with coordinating vehicle availability.
COMPLIANCE AND SAFETYAdhere to company policies, safety standards, and local traffic regulations.
Ensure all documentation and processes comply with company requirements.
ADMINISTRATIONKeep transaction and inspection records updated and organised.
Support smooth workflow during peak periods, weekends, or holidays.
