This position is to m anage a team of Rental Agents (currently 5) but will also be responsible for doing her/his own rental deals and recruit for new rental agents to grow the team.

  • Manage and grow rentals and property management in the Company's Cape Town offices (Atlantic Seaboard and Southern Suburbs)
  • Achieve regional rental targets, expenditure and profit targets on an annual basis - targets to be agreed upon
  • Achieve regional property management targets, expenditure and profit targets on an annual basis - targets to be agreed upon
  • Recruit and develop a high performing rental and property management team as needed in order to achieve the above objectives
  • Finalise, implement and manage systems, to be agreed by the board of directors including but not limited to: Systems, processes and procedures (TPN, Agreements, etc) Payprop, inspections, maintenance teams (Vetting, work, price, slas) - appointing and managing service providers, property management back office staff
  • Work in conjunction with the Western Cape regional rentals manager to align both regions
  • Build and maintain relationships with sales managers, divisional managers, rental consultants, property managers, maintenance teams for the western cape offices
  • Work with the team to implement rental training programmes
  • Work as a member of the senior management team
  • Implement an improved rental and property management model to maximize productivity and efficiencies
  • Implement company strategies within the rental division
  • Assist with the ongoing development and implementation of appropriate rental and other strategies in the company.
Requirements
  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Rental Management position
