Relief Travel Specialist

Sandton, South Africa Permanent Role

We're looking for a dynamic Relief Travel Specialist to step in, support teams, and deliver seamless travel experiences across Africa.

• Manage consultant desks during leave periods (full function support)
• Handle quotes, requotes, and ongoing travel proposals
• Design creative, tailor made itineraries
• Assist with brochure quotes and bookings during peak periods
• Support educational trips and agent experiences
• Communicate with agents, sales teams, and suppliers
• Follow up on leads and ensure seamless service delivery

• 3-5 years inbound tour consulting experience
• Strong knowledge of Southern & East Africa (advantageous)
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, WETU; Tourplan beneficial)
• Strong understanding of the travel industry and sales processes
• High attention to detail and admin driven mindset
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly
• Passion for guest service and travel
