Regional Industrial Relations Manager
Job Description
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Regional Industrial Relations Manager to join their Head Office team in Fourways, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will oversee all industrial relations processes, manage disputes, ensure compliance with labour laws, and foster positive relationships between management and employees to maintain a healthy, cooperative workplace.
Responsibilities- Manage industrial relations processes and disputes in line with company policies.
- Identify training needs and ensure proper implementation.
- Build strong relationships through clear communication and accurate administration.
- Lead and facilitate formal meetings, consultations, and communications.
- Submit reports and documentation for CCMA and Labour Court proceedings.
- Participate in employment equity initiatives.
- Proactively identify and mitigate labour-related risks.
- Maintain high-quality performance independently and in collaboration with others.
- Matric (NQF 4) and relevant tertiary qualification (NQF 5) in LLB, HR, IR.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of labour legislation and dispute resolution.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive issues with professionalism.
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
