We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Growth & Strategy Manager to spearhead the acquisition of new business opportunities across diverse sectors within South Africa and Africa. This role offers the chance to operate at a senior level, driving the entire sales lifecycle from proactive hunting and lead generation through to crafting sophisticated, multi-faceted solutions and ensuring seamless client on boarding. You will be instrumental in shaping regional strategy, managing high-stakes client relationships, and exceeding ambitious revenue targets in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. Success in this position means directly influencing the organization's footprint and impact across the continent.
Responsibilities- Drive and execute the regional business and sales strategy across various sectors and provinces within South Africa and key African markets.
- Employ a proactive "hunting" approach to identify market opportunities, secure new business leads, and generate revenue by expertly diagnosing and solving customer pain points with suitable product offerings.
- Lead the end-to-end solutioning process, collaborating cross-functionally (Commercial, Finance, Legal) to craft compelling proposals, pricing structures, and service level agreements (SLAs) for prospective clients.
- Maintain robust pipeline management, ensuring a consistent flow of viable opportunities to consistently exceed conversion and revenue targets.
- Cultivate and retain strong relationships with existing clients, actively seeking opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to maximize account value.
- Develop high-impact pitch decks and presentations for senior-level client engagements, both virtually and in person.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to governance and compliance frameworks throughout the sales and contracting processes, including oversight of initial implementation phases.
- Leverage CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) consistently for accurate sales tracking, performance reporting, and forecasting.
- Relevant Qualification.
- 5 years experience in health-related environment.
- Sound knowledge of healthcare industry.
- Willingness to travel.
