Recruitment Consultant
Job Description
- Build and grow a portfolio of clients within your market specialism.
- Proactively identify recruitment needs and initiate business development calls, meetings, and networking opportunities.
- Promote and sell PageGroup solutions (database search, retained search, advertising campaigns).
- Negotiate fees and manage client expectations throughout the recruitment process.
- Source and attract candidates via database, social media, referrals, and advertising.
- Interview candidates to assess experience, skills, and career goals.
- Prepare candidates for interviews and manage feedback loops.
- Support candidates with market insights and salary advice.
- Present suitable candidates to clients and coordinate interviews.
- Assist in salary and contract negotiations.
- Ensure successful placements and maintain ongoing client and candidate relationships.
- Work closely with colleagues across disciplines to share commercial opportunities.
- Maintain accurate data in PageGroup systems.
- Degree holder.
- Prior experience in recruitment, HR consulting, or sales/customer service.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English and French.
