Job OverviewWe are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Candidate Resourcer to support our UK Life Sciences recruitment efforts. This role is suited to a South African-based recruiter with experience sourcing across the UK market within pharma, biotech, and related sectors. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging high calibre candidates, supporting delivery teams, and ensuring a seamless recruitment experience aligned with UK market expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Source and attract top talent across the UK life sciences sector, including pharma, biotech, and clinical research organisations.
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean search strategies to identify and engage both active and passive candidates.
- Conduct structured screening calls to evaluate candidate suitability, motivations, and alignment with client briefs.
- Collaborate with Sales Consultants to understand UK-specific client requirements and hiring trends.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines across key verticals and skill sets.
- Keep informed of UK market trends, salary benchmarks, and regulatory considerations.
- Meet and exceed KPIs related to sourcing activity, candidate engagement, and delivery output.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Bullhorn or equivalent ATS systems.
- Proven experience recruiting for the UK market (remote from South Africa).
- Demonstrated success as a candidate-focused resourcer (delivery role only).
- Experience within Life Sciences / Pharma / Biotech is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in LinkedIn sourcing and Boolean search methodologies.
- Experience using Bullhorn or similar ATS platforms.
- Solid understanding of UK hiring practices, candidate expectations, and compliance considerations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage UK-based candidates effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent searches.
