The role provides product ownership input into ERP design, CoA modernization, and automation initiatives, including requirements definition, UAT coordination, and release governance. The Custodian governs the design, maintenance, and execution of the CoA to ensure consistent, compliant, auditable, and analyticsready financial records across all entities, ledgers, and reporting frameworks. This includes assessing change requests against the Finance Logic Framework, determining the optimal point of change across the data lifecycle, and driving continuous improvement in R2R processes, controls, and data quality to enable accurate and timely close and reporting. Lead CoA and ledger architecture design, modernization, and maintenance aligned to cloud ERP and finance transformation programs. Establish and operate CoA governance, including approval structures, stewardship roles, maintenance standards, and controlled change processes. Define and enforce rule based account structures, validation and cross validation rules, and audit trails to ensure posting integrity and traceability. Coordinate cross functional stakeholders to align reporting requirements, accounting logic, data lineage, and process impacts. Execute legacy to modern CoA mapping and migration, including hierarchy design, historical mapping, and testing validation. Oversee CoArelated master data stewardship in partnership with the Finance Data Office to ensure data quality, lineage, and observability. Ensure alignment between the CoA, accounting policies, and disclosure requirements. Act as escalation owner for ledger posting, reconciliation, and intercompany issues, enforcing netting and settlement policies. Drive ongoing review and continuous improvement of CoA structures, attributes, and related R2R processes.
