Our client in the Automotive Engineering sector is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager with 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a senior technical role within the automotive, heavy engineering, or mining equipment industries.

Requirements
  • National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Red Seal qualification in Engine Building and Diesel Mechanics (essential)
  • Quality Management certification (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma) advantageous
  • OEM training or certification on Deutz or Cummins engines highly beneficial
  • 5-8 years in Quality Assurance or a senior technical role within automotive, heavy engineering, or mining equipment industries
  • Proven expertise in engine rebuilds, diagnostics, and maintenance (preferably Deutz and Cummins engines)
  • Experience managing quality assurance across multiple branches or multi-site operations
  • Strong background working with ISO systems and compliance standards
  • Demonstrated success in leading and implementing quality assurance processes
  • Advanced technical knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty mining equipment
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to travel between branches and mine sites as required
