Quality Controller page is loaded Quality Controllerremote type: Onsitelocations: Paarltime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: March 3, 2026 (2 hours left to apply)job requisition id: JR001673It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!Quality ControllerJob SpecificationQuality ControllerPosition Quality ControllerGrade :B1Reporting Production ControllerMain Job Objective To perform Quality Control functions in the Production AreaQuality ControllerRequired Competencies• A minimum of 2 years as a Quality Controller in the Manufacturing area Skills and Knowledge • Ability to read + understand SOP's• Understanding of Process Specifications/Recipes/Interpretation of data• Ability to plot, read and interpret graphs• Ability to perform on-line tests• Functionally literate and numerate.• Understanding of all QC principles relating to the factory• Conduct all procedural checks + execute SOP• Accuracy + Attention to detail• Understands Goals + Objectives as explained by Supervisor• Operation of Laboratory equipment• Must be a team player• Must be prepared to work shifts and overtime• Willingness to be trained and multi-skilled• Must have high levels of integrity and honesty• Working knowledge and understanding of HACCP• Grade 12/matric preferredMain job functions• Operate laboratory equipment as per the SOP's• Conduct necessary quality control checks• Assist in identifying appropriate Corrective Action where necessary• Report on wastage• Conduct necessary quality control checks• Rectify and report all deviations to Supervisor• Ensure that all Safety Regulations are adhered to + report any unsafe practices/hazards to Supervisor• Adhere to Personal + Factory Standards in respect of hygiene• Ensure equipment + work area clean• Basic first line maintenance• Adhere to HACCP principlesIn accordance with the employment equity plan of Tiger Brands and its employment equity goals and targets, preference may be given, but is not limited, to candidates from under-represented designated groups.
