We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Product Owner III to drive the successful development and delivery of high-impact, complex products.
In this role, you will act as the bridge between business, technology, and customer needs-owning the product backlog, shaping delivery outcomes, and ensuring maximum value is realized. You will play a key role in influencing product strategy, guiding Agile teams, and contributing to the evolution of modern product management practices through innovation and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities Product Ownership & Delivery- Define and manage iteration scope aligned to the Product Manager's vision
- Own and prioritise the team backlog based on value, readiness, and strategic priorities
- Lead iteration reviews, showcasing product progress and performance
- Plan and drive Program Increment (PI) planning and product release cycles
- Ensure successful delivery of product features within timelines and quality standards
- Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and ensure effective team participation
- Drive resolution of impediments, managing risks, escalations, and dependencies
- Collaborate across Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure alignment and delivery
- Maintain a continuous flow of value through well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
- Serve as the product ambassador to senior stakeholders, executives, and cross-functional teams
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements
- Advocate for the voice of the customer , ensuring solutions are customer-centric
- Align stakeholders on product priorities, trade-offs, and delivery expectations
- Contribute to product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback, market insights, and performance data into product evolution
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions
- Ensure alignment with enterprise priorities and customer experience standards
- Partner with Chapters and CoEs to adopt best practices and improve delivery standards
- Mentor and coach other Product Owners, fostering a culture of excellence
- Contribute to Product Owner CoE initiatives and Agile thought leadership
- Lead teams in line with industry best practices and organisational standards
- NQF Level: Advanced Diploma / National First Degree
- Degree in Information Technology, or related field
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) - e.g. Leading SAFe, SAFe PO/PM, DevOps
- Entry-Level Business Analysis Certification
- 7-10 years' experience in Product Management / Product Ownership
- Product Management & Agile Methodologies
- Business Analysis & Strategic Planning
- Strong Business Acumen & Industry Insight
