Product Owner: Back Office
Job Description
We are seeking a Product Owner: Back Office to own and evolve Transaction Junction's back-office products, including reconciliation, settlement, billing, file processing, reporting, and archiving. This role is responsible for defining and delivering scalable product solutions that protect revenue, reduce operational risk, and support growth across the payment ecosystem.
Working closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders, you will lead products from concept to delivery, ensuring continuous value through clear strategy, prioritisation, and execution.
Role OverviewAs Product Manager, you will define the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Transaction Junction's back-office products. You will work closely with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Risk & Compliance teams to translate complex financial and operational requirements into scalable product solutions. You will own the full product lifecycle, from discovery and prioritisation through to delivery and continuous improvement ensuring systems are reliable, auditable, and fit for high-volume transaction environments.

- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, reconciliation, settlement, and billing processes
- Exposure to high volume payment environments and file based integrations
- Familiarity with audit, compliance, and financial reporting requirements
- Proven ability to scale internal platforms that support commercial growth
- 6+ years of experience in product management or a similar role.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner/Manager, preferably in fintech.
- Familiarity with Agile principles, not strictly bound by Scrum conventions.
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and leadership qualities.
- Developed customer centric products from inception to post launch.
- Led diverse teams, collaborating with architects, engineers, designers, and data analysts.
- Emphasised product outcomes over outputs, driving product KPIs.
- Collaborated with various departments to influence product positioning, sales, and support.
- Thrived in ambiguous problem solving situations and tackled complex challenges.
