MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo manage a portfolio of equipment, make recommendations and ensure complete administration and support of approved products to ensure optimal value for Mediclinic taking all stakeholders into account.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS- Equipment Evaluations, Approvals and Administration
- Maintain constructive and value adding relationships with suppliers
- Support Production and Project Teams
- Departmental Support and Mentoring
- Information Management
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12
DESIRED EDUCATION:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Medical equipment procurement experience or working within a medical equipment environment
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years' experience in a medical equipment procurement
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE- Procurement systems (SAP; Webi; H-Drive, ECRI)
- Medical equipment and consumables and the application
- Product research
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office)
