Job Summary Job Description 1. Pricing Strategy & Execution Develop and maintain pricing models to optimize product profitability. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to recommend pricing adjustments. Support the design, testing, and rollout of pricing initiatives. Monitor price performance and identify opportunities for margin enhancement. 2. Profitability & Financial Analysis Conduct product-level and segment-level profitability studies. Assess the impact of pricing changes on revenue, profit, and customer acquisition. 3. Reporting & Insights Produce regular pricing dashboards, profitability reports, and business performance insights. Translate analytical outcomes into clear recommendations for leadership Present findings to stakeholders (Product, Finance, Risk, Commercial, Marketing). Technical Skills Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities. Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros), SQL, SAS, Python or R (advantage). Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field. Education Bachelor s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required) Absa Bank Limited is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
