The Services Manager is responsible for managing servicecontracts, ensuring performance standards are met, and overseeing operationalservices across all soft services. This role ensures the efficient andeffective delivery of services, maintaining high standards of quality andcompliance. The role will also ensure a focus on service performance againstcontracts, as well as supplier management. The Services Contracts Manager willwork closely with internal teams such as Facilities Management, to align withthe company's operational and contractual objectives.
Contract and Service Performance:
- Ensureservice providers meet performance standards as outlined in SLAs.
- Overseecontract compliance and performance adherence to service-levelobligations.
- Handlecontract renewals, modification and amendments.
- Focuson optimizing service delivery, driving improvements, and ensuringcompliance across all contracts.
- Workclosely with internal specialised teams, including Energy & Utilitiesand Procurement, to manage service interactions and ensure efficientcoordination with the Facilities Management team.
- Implementstrategies to enhance vendor relationships, focusing on continualperformance improvement.
Operational Oversight:
- Overseedaily operations of applicable services.
- Ensureservices are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Implementand monitor service improvement plans.
- Ensureall services comply with health and safety regulations and applicableindustry standards.
- Maintainoperational focus on key systems for all soft services, while coordinatingwith specialized in-house teams.
- TrackKPIs to measure service performance and identify areas of improvement.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Actas the primary liaison between the Facilities Management team and internaldepartments (e.g., Energy & Utilities, and Procurement), ensuringsmooth coordination of service delivery.
- Workclosely with Procurement to align on contract management, supplierengagements, and compliance with purchasing guidelines.
- Collaboratewith field services to ensure timely, efficient responses to serviceissues.
- Engagein regular performance reviews with internal stakeholders and serviceproviders to maintain alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitateconflict resolution with service providers and ensure issues are escalatedwhen necessary.
Soft Services include:
- Cleaningand janitorial services
- Pestcontrol
- Landscapingand grounds maintenance
- Receptionand front desk services
- Wastemanagement(work closely with specialised in-house team)
- Provenexperience in contract management and service delivery oversight.
- Strongorganizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellentcommunication, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Demonstratedexperience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Strongtechnical background, with experience in managing service providers andfield services.
- Experiencein working closely with Procurement on contract alignment and suppliermanagement.
- Abilityto work independently and as part of a team.
