Precision Machinist & Assembler - Contract to Perm

A successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing machinery components. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work to precise specifications.

• Manufacturing & Machining: Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to machine metal and other materials using lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related equipment to produce high-precision components.
• Assembly & Installation: Assemble and install fabricated parts, sub-assemblies, and complete machines, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and operational performance.
• Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose mechanical faults, carry out routine maintenance, and perform overhauls on equipment such as pumps, valves, and hydraulic systems.
• Precision Work: Use precision measuring instruments to verify accuracy and perform fine adjustments using hand tools including files, chisels, and similar equipment.
• The employee may be required to perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

• Recognized trade certificate
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Three Months Contract - possible permanent (3FTC)
