At Mukuru, great ideas only matter if they're delivered well. As a Portfolio Coordinator, you'll be the engine behind how projects move from concept to completion ensuring structure, visibility, and impact across the business.

What you'll do

Keep the portfolio moving

  • Coordinate projects across business areas, ensuring alignment with PMO frameworks and standards
  • Track project progress from intake to delivery, identifying risks, delays, and gaps
  • Maintain a single source of truth for all project data and reporting

Own governance and structure

  • Ensure compliance with stage-gates, documentation, and delivery practices
  • Support project intake, validate submissions, and maintain high-quality artefacts
  • Drive consistency in how projects are managed across the organisation

Be the Asana expert

  • Act as the go-to Asana Champion, ensuring data accuracy and usability
  • Optimise workflows, boards, and reporting structures
  • Support automation, clean-up, and continuous improvement of the platform

Support critical initiatives

  • Coordinate Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and OHS initiatives
  • Maintain registers, track progress, and ensure audit readiness
  • Support strategic and operational projects when needed

Drive insight and improvement

  • Build reports and dashboards that give leadership clear visibility
  • Identify opportunities to improve PMO processes and governance maturity
  • Coach teams on best practices and help embed strong delivery discipline
What you bring
  • 3-5 years' experience in project/portfolio/PMO coordination
  • Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Hands on experience with Asana, Excel, or similar tools
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with cross functional teams
