We are seeking an exceptionally talented and sophisticated Picture Editor to join our team dedicated to a world renowned high luxury jewellery and heritage brand. This role is a rare opportunity to curate and define the visual identity of a premier digital platform that celebrates the pinnacle of artistry and timeless elegance.

As Picture Editor, you will be the guardian of the brand's visual prestige. You must possess an elite eye for luxury aesthetics and a deep understanding of how to showcase high jewellery and celebrity stories through breathtaking photography. Working closely with the Editorial Lead and the client, you will ensure every visual, from macro photography of rare stones to high fashion lifestyle campaigns, meets the highest standards of luxury and brand heritage.

What you'll do
  • Visual Strategy: Execute a world class visual vision, ensuring all imagery aligns with the heritage and "prestige" positioning of a global luxury leader.
  • Sourcing & Curation: Source elite photography from high end archives and partner agencies, ensuring all assets reflect the brand's history and modern relevance.
  • Commissioning: Work with the creative team to brief and commission original photography and videography, managing high stakes shoots from concept to final delivery.
  • High End Image Editing: Oversee or perform expert level retouching, colour correction, and cropping, ensuring all assets are optimized for digital performance without sacrificing the "luxury feel."
  • Collaboration: Work alongside SEO specialists and social media leads to ensure visual content is both aesthetically flawless and platform effective.
  • Rights & Asset Management: Manage complex image licensing, high value budgets, and usage rights for all global visual assets.
  • Consistency: Enforce rigorous visual style guides to ensure a seamless, high end experience across all editorial touchpoints.
  • Trend Insight: Monitor the landscape of luxury fashion and jewelry to keep the platform's visual language ahead of the curve.
About you
  • 5-7+ years of experience as a Picture Editor or Visual Producer, with a significant portfolio in high luxury, fine jewellery, or prestige celebrity fashion.
  • Exceptional Aesthetic Sense: A "luxury first" eye with a deep appreciation for the technicalities of jewellery photography, including light refraction and macro detail.
  • Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom) and experience with high end Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Elite Network: Established relationships with world class photographers, retouchers, and luxury image libraries.
  • Precision Minded: A meticulous approach to image quality, metadata, and the nuances of high luxury branding.
  • Collaborative & Adaptive: Experience working in a fast paced agency or in house luxury environment, balancing creative excellence with performance goals.
  • Passion for Craftsmanship: A genuine interest in the world of high luxury goods, heritage brands, and the artistry of jewellery making.
  • You live & breathe Greenpark's core value "We Strive, Acting Together, With Kindness." Championing openness, respect, innovation, and teamwork-so that every interaction reflects our commitment to our values.
How we'll support you
  • 25 days of paid holidays per year + ZA public holidays and your birthday off.
  • Christmas Closure - extra days on top of your holiday allowance.
  • A monthly entertainment subscription paid by the company (e.g., Amazon Prime, Netflix, Spotify, etc).
  • Access to VDU Eye Tests and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
  • Participate in wellness and peer recognition initiatives (e.g., On The Spot Awards and Value Champion Awards).

  • Yearly Calm subscription.
  • A collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • The chance to shape a high profile, global editorial platform based in the United States.
