Role

Philanthropy & Partnership Fundraising Lead at ActionAid International will drive high-value fundraising from major donors, trusts and foundations, and strategic philanthropic partners. The postholder will work across the federation to unlock new funding opportunities, deepen existing partnerships, and create meaningful donor engagement opportunities, from tailored cultivation moments to donor roundtables and international funder engagement. Working closely with Programme and Policy colleagues, they will shape strong cases for support that inspire confidence and secure significant funding for ActionAid's mission and long-term ambition.

Responsibilities
  • Drive high-value fundraising from major donors, trusts, foundations and strategic philanthropic partners.
  • Build senior donor relationships and develop compelling opportunities for philanthropic investment.
  • Unlock new funding opportunities across the federation.
  • Deepen existing partnerships.
  • Create donor engagement opportunities: tailored cultivation moments, donor roundtables, and international funder engagement.
  • Shape strong cases for support alongside Programme and Policy teams to secure significant funding.
Qualifications

Strategic, relationship driven fundraising leader with a multi year track record of growing financial support from philanthropists and trust and foundation partners. Demonstrated experience securing high value funding, building senior relationships, and developing partnerships that deliver long term support. Strong commitment to ActionAid's values and feminist leadership principles.
