Job Title: Personal Care Senior Packaging Technologist

The role involved leading and managing packaging workstreams for projects such as bottles, closures, jars, and other small to medium new variant or brand projects. The successful candidate would coordinate with global teams, provide technical guidance to suppliers, ensure compliance with supply chain, formulation, consumer, brand, regional and confidentiality requirements, and lead packaging testing and specification development.

• Provide technical guidance to suppliers, marketing and component & colour qualification for new variant/brand projects.
• Communicate with packaging teams around the globe to share best practice and facilitate or support project development and rollout.
• Develop new or existing packaging that meets supply chain, formulation, consumer, brand, regional and confidentiality requirements.
• Lead packaging testing activities, interpret results, make recommendations and build robust specifications.
• Work and communicate effectively with different departments and suppliers to deliver against the project network timings and manage risks.
• Participate actively in leading and contributing to the Packaging Strategy and other category activities.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in packaging development.
• Experience with 3D injection moulded component qualification.
• A creative, logical and analytical mind to generate innovative design solutions to technical problems.
• Business leadership skills with the ability to prioritise design decisions based on cost, consumer impact and environmental impact.
