Job DescriptionA reputable organisation is seeking a highly organised, professional, and reliable Personal Assistant to the CEO to be based in Durban. This role is ideal for a seasoned executive assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, high-level environment and can provide seamless administrative and coordination support at executive level.
This Durban-based position plays a critical role in ensuring effective communication, coordination, and administrative efficiency across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the CEO's diary, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
- Prepare agendas, minutes, presentations, and briefing materials
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistics
- Serve as a key liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders
- Conduct research and compile reports, briefing notes, and presentations
- Draft and manage correspondence (emails, letters, reports)
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Support planning and coordination of projects, events, and stakeholder engagements
- Ensure smooth office administration and workflow management
- National Diploma or Degree in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience providing executive-level administrative support
- Experience supporting senior executives in a corporate environment (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer literacy (MS Office Suite, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong drafting skills (letters, memos, presentations, submissions)
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proactive, adaptable, and resourceful mindsetExcellent time management and prioritisation skills
