Permanent - Warehouse Manager - Cape Town - South Africa
  • Assist the Branch Manager with building and warehouse maintenance activities.
  • Ensure efficient warehouse workflow and optimal day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain and enforce health and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
  • Oversee stock movement, stock control, and regular stock taking processes.
  • Supervise and manage warehouse staff to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate logistics and distribution activities to support business operations.
  • Monitor warehouse processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Inherent Requirements Key Requirements
  • Experience
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehousing and logistics.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
  • Project management experience will be advantageous.
Education & Qualifications
  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
  • Diploma or relevant qualification in Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain Management will be advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
  • SAP Business One experience will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
