We are seeking a dynamic HR Recruitment Generalist to join our team at Green Fields New Mine. As an HR Recruitment Generalist, you will play a crucial role in attracting top talent to our organization as we build our team for this new venture.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the mining industry.
  • Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels and tools to identify and engage with potential candidates.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, and other recruitment activities.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
Duties
  • Create job postings and advertisements for open positions.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews with candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and documentation.
  • Communicate with candidates and provide updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist with onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members on special projects and initiatives.

Inherent Requirements
  • Knowledge of Mining Industry: Understanding of the mining industry, including the operational processes, industry regulations, and safety standards specific to a new green fields mine.
  • Recruitment Expertise: Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates at various levels within the mining industry.
  • Compliance Management: Ability to ensure all recruitment activities comply with industry-specific regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies set forth by the mine.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external recruiters, and potential candidates to meet recruitment goals successfully.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing recruitment metrics and data to identify trends, optimize recruitment strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement in the recruitment process.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, present findings, and convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, HR partners, hiring managers, and external vendors to ensure a seamless recruitment process that aligns with the mine's strategic goals.
  • Problem Solving Abilities: Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills to address recruitment challenges, anticipate future needs, and provide innovative solutions to attract top talent to the green fields new mine.
