Job Description
Reporting to: HR Manager Travel Requirement: Must be willing to travel when required
Job PurposeTo provide efficient and effective HR support, ensuring the smooth implementation of HR policies, procedures, and daily operations within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with recruitment processes (advertising, screening, interviews, onboarding)
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support payroll and benefits administration
- Handle employee queries and provide HR support
- Assist with disciplinary procedures and employee relations matters
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labour legislation
- Coordinate training and development initiatives
- Assist with performance management processes
- Compile HR reports and maintain HR data systems
- Support general HR administration and office functions
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 2-5 years' experience in an HR role
- Knowledge of South African labour legislation
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HR systems and payroll systems (advantageous)
- Strong data capturing and reporting skills
- Familiarity with online recruitment platforms (e.g., job portals)
- General computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
