Red Ember Recruitment is recruiting a Payroll Administratorfor a client based in Brackenfell, Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing the full payroll function from processing,verifying, and reconciling of pay information, taking into account Legislation,Company Policy, and Audit requirements.
  • Performing various reconciliations, which include theNational Bargaining Council Leave versus the Sage300 People balance.
  • Ensuring accurate payment of salaries and wages.
  • Preparation of a detailed analytical review of the salariesfor the pay period.
  • Explaining material variances from the before the currentmonth.
  • Provide support to the Payroll Supervisor.
  • Other ad hocpayroll-related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • At least 5 years in the same or similar role
  • At least 3 years processing payroll using SAGE300 People
  • Knowledge / Exposure to the National Bargaining CouncilCollective Agreement for the Road Freight Industry is an advantage
  • Experience with African payrolls and legislation isadvantageous
