The Role

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our growing remote payroll team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional based in South Africa who has experience processing UK payrolls and enjoys working with multiple clients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You'll be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with UK legislation, meeting deadlines, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end processing of multiple UK payrolls

  • Accurate calculation and payment of salaries, statutory pay, and allowances

  • Submission of all statutory filings including FPS, EPS, P45s, P60s, Starter Declarations, and End of Year submissions

  • Ensuring payrolls are compliant with UK legislation and HMRC deadlines

  • Completion of month-end and year-end payroll processes

  • Responding to client payroll queries in a professional and timely manner

  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation

  • Supporting ad hoc payroll-related projects as requested by the Payroll Services Manager

About You
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, ideally managing multiple payrolls

  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Confident working independently in a remote environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working to deadlines and managing competing priorities

  • Calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure

Qualifications & Technical Skills
  • Payroll experience is essential; UK payroll experience highly advantageous

  • Strong computer literacy, including:

    • Payroll software

    • Microsoft Word

    • Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)

    • Microsoft Teams
