About the Role

You will support the Head Chef in managing the pastry section, ensuring high-quality production, creativity, and consistency across all pastry offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the pastry section and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards
  • Assist with menu development and new dessert concepts
  • Manage stock, ordering, and minimise waste
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
Requirements
  • Culinary qualification with a focus on pastry
  • Previous experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or Senior Pastry Chef
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and presentation
  • Creative and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
