Parts Team Leader M/F
Job Description
We are looking for a Parts Team Leader (M/F) based in South Africa. The role focuses on achieving new business objectives, sales targets and revenue growth, while implementing best practices in parts sales and ensuring a customer oriented service.
Responsibilities- Lead the Parts Department, conducting bi annual performance appraisals, payroll information, monthly departmental meetings, and achieving employee morale survey targets.
- Manage leave, absenteeism, and Investors in People initiatives in line with company objectives.
- Ensure effective internal and inter departmental communication and compliance with personnel policies.
- Oversee quality of customer interaction and service, guiding the Parts team to attract and secure new business, develop partnerships and tailor made solutions.
- Manage the development needs of the Parts Aftermarket sales team and administrative staff.
- Apply sound financial management: meet sales and GP targets, maintain stock availability, control obsolescence, manage overheads and debtors, and handle fast parts order processing.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports.
- Ensure the team follows administrative procedures accurately.
- Grow the department in line with company requirements and implement operational innovations.
- Drive customer service excellence and maintain good relations with customers.
- Matric, Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in the material handling or related industry.
- Proven success in parts sales management and knowledge of parts/products such as compactor, crane parts, etc.
