Our client is seeking an experienced Parts Supervisor to join the Cape Town team,

  • Supervisethe parts department
  • Implement and manage inventory controlsystems to track parts turnover and adjust stock levels accordingly.
  • Organize, oversee and conduct physicalinventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy in stock levels and identifydiscrepancies.
  • Oversee and conduct goods receiving anddispatch ensuring all paperwork is correct and goods movement are in good orderand handled timeously.
  • Ensure that customer orders are picked daily,packed securely, labelled correctly, and dispatched accurately using IFS.
  • Coordinate with the service department toensure timely sourcing and delivery of parts required for repairs andmaintenance.
  • Maintain relationships with the buying andshipping departments to ensure acceptable delivery schedules.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaintsregarding parts availability, pricing, and warranty issues, providing solutionsto ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain the parts store and site to a safeand clean standard to ensure ease of availability of stock.
  • Ensure safe working practices and to allowthe site to function efficiently and in compliance with safety legislation.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the material handling, earthmoving or automotiveparts industry
