Job Description

Ntt Ford Zululand is looking for a Parts Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Inventory Management: Ordering, receiving, and stocking parts, while monitoring for slow-moving items and managing returns to suppliers.
  • Team Leadership: Hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring department staff to ensure productivity and safety compliance.
  • Customer Service: Assisting internal (service technicians) and external customers in identifying and purchasing parts, handling inquiries and complaints.
  • Financial Performance: Setting and maintaining pricing to ensure profitability, creating reports on sales, and managing budgets.
  • Supplier Relations: Developing relationships with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely, accurate, and efficient ordering.
  • System Operations: Utilizing and maintaining the inventory management system (ERP) for tracking, ordering, and inventory accuracy.
Requirement
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control principles.
  • Leadership and staff management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

The successful candidate must have a valid drivers license and must be computer literate.
